At Candlewick, we are always on the lookout to develop new services and improve our current services.
This month, we began the programming certification system for the programming tool ‘Cubetto’ as a new D2C service. This is a test that can be taken online for free, developed in response to customers’ feedback stating that they wanted a standard to measure how much they understand of the tool.
We have also operated several online services in addition to the above. For example, Candlewick has established an instructor certification system for those who use the programming tool ‘Cubetto’ for lessons. In the instructor certification system, participants take a 2-day online webinar, followed by the exam. Throughout the webinar, instructors learn practical contents such as methods for guiding children of all ages, tips for group work, and coping methods for common troubles, while having the opportunity to actively engage, which is very well received by participants. The programming tool ‘Cubetto’, handled by Candlewick, is used in more than 120 educational institutions, including kindergartens and nursery schools.
We also regularly hold webinars for teachers throughout Japan, taking advantage of ‘online’, to share effective teaching methods. You can rent and try a sample Cubetto in case you are considering introducing it but are worried whether or not you can use it effectively.
