Promoting Malaysia as a tourist destination
In conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2014, Tourism Malaysia has implemented diversity promotional programs in order to increase the number of Japanese tourists to Malaysia.
As a PR agency for Tourism Malaysia in the Japan market, various promotions have been planned to create awareness, with one of them being a Malaysian gourmet promotion campaign called 'Sudah Makan?' or 'Have you eaten?'. For this campaign, several programs were implemented such as a press conference, consumer events, press tours as well as collaboration with Malaysian restaurants in Japan. Furthermore, Candlewick is planning to create more 'buzz' through Facebook campaign to ensure all information reaches the target audience.
