We at Candlewick are the exclusive Japanese distributor of de Mamiel, the British skin-care brand for your well-being. Recently, we held a product presentation online for media in anticipation for the new products launching in late June.

For the first time ever, we had the chance to have the brand’s founder, Annee de Mamiel, take part. She discussed the product development, the ingredients and gave her thoughts on the brand from the UK via a live broadcast. Annee, who is often invited to companies, including Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, to give mindfulness guidance, began her presentation with her signature ‘Breath Work’. It was an event that really conveyed both the message of de Mameil and Annee’s charm!

During de Mamiel’s online production launch, planned and managed entirely by Candlewick, the brand’s founder, Annee, spoke on the development of her revolutionary products to help deal with stress, the features of the product, and the ingredients she wanted others to notice. We also had time for a Q&A session with the media with questions we had received in advance.

While getting used to the timing of interpretation online, Annee enthusiastically answered a wide range of interesting questions about the current situation in the U.K. and Annee’s concept of anti-aging for adults, which helped both the attendees and our staff deepen their understanding of this product.

The theme of de Mamiel’s new product launching in June is to “work on stress,” so for this online event, we wanted to create a time of well-being, in line with this theme, where attendees could take a break from work and relax while enjoying a cup of tea.

Keeping the brand’s message of enjoying the season in mind, we prepared a refreshing lemon cake and fragrant English tea (rather than the classic Victoria sponge), and sent them with product samples. The lemon cake was a crowd favorite, receiving many wonderful comments. As working from home has become the norm for many, online presentations have become the new standard, but we are always planning with “Your attitude” in mind to make events that can be enjoyed at home or at the office.
