Monaco was selected for the first broadcast of the new program “DAIGO no onegai! World Tour”. Monaco Government Tourism and Convention Bureau provided support for the filming. The show’s guest is car enthusiast, Mr. Takeshi Tsuruno! The show will introduce a scenic drive in a classic car through Monte Carlo F1 course. This new program will fulfil the dream of Mr. Tsuruno for sure!

The show was aired on BS Nihon Television on Tuesday October 4th at 9pm.

The program featured the newly renovated Historic Car Museum in Monaco. The Monaco Tourism Bureau arranged for the filiming permit. This is the first time for the museum to be aired on television! The museum displays a collection of over 70 cars collected by Prince Rainier, an automobile enthusiast, over a period of more than 50 years.

The museum first opened in 1993 at Fontvieille, and recently moved to a larger facility, 3,500 square meter in size in Port Hercules on July 2022. It is a must-see!

The Monaco Tourism and Convention Bureau applied for a film permission at the Oceanographic Museum for “DAIGO no onegai! World Tour”,. The program introduced various exhibits in the museum. The featured mermaid was purchased by the museum in 1913 and said to have been brought to Monaco from Japan!
