A update on some of the brands that we work with! This time we have an announcement from the Japan Office of the Monaco Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The 5th edition of “Monaco Ocean Week 2023” was held in the Principality of Monaco from Monday, March 20 to Sunday, March 26, 2023. The event brought together key stakeholders in the marine sector from national and international experts, the scientific community, the voluntary sector, and public institutions to share key findings on the marine environment and to take action to protect the ocean.

The event featured a varied program of press conferences, workshops, symposia, colloquiums, award ceremonies, exhibitions, documentary film screenings, and educational workshops.

The recognition and conservation of marine ecosystems has been an integral part of the Principality of Monaco’s history since the end of the 19th century, and these efforts continue into the 21st century, leading the world.

Next, from Mystays Hotel Management.

Kamenoi Hotel Hikone reopened on April 1, bringing in local history and traditions throughout the hotel!

Mystays Hotel Management rebranded “Kanpo no Yado” as “Kamenoi Hotel” last year, and is proud to be the first hotel in the Kamenoi Hotel Group to reopen after renovation.

The theme of the renovation is Hikone Castle, a symbol of the region, and the colorful design of the Ii family’s “Ii no Aka Boei” (elite troops with armor in mainly red and vermilion colors).

The renovated rooms also feature a new “View Bathroom”, which are designed to take advantage of the superb view of Lake Biwa, seen from the room’s bathtub!

The last one we have for you comes from Tourism New Zealand.

Tourism New Zealand has partnered with PADI®, the world’s largest diving education organization, to release a “Mermaid Diving” video showcasing New Zealand’s enchanting underwater world. The video captures official PADI® Mermaid team members from around the world exploring the marine sanctuary of the Poor Knights Islands, a world-class dive site in Northland.

New Zealand has established 44 marine protected areas throughout the country to sustain its unique natural paradise, and prohibits fishing, harvesting, and disturbance of marine life to conserve biodiversity.
Mermaid Diving demonstrates a deep concern for the ocean itself and all life that calls it home, and supports those involved in conservation efforts by advocating and promoting the importance of marine conservation.
