Candlewick is supporting ‘Janu Tokyo’ with their PR. We are thrilled to be working with the Janu brand and are looking forward to further introducing their flagship and vibrant hospitality concept to Japan.

Janu Tokyo is the world’s first hotel under the Aman Group’s Janu brand, Janu Tokyo, finally opened in Azabudai Hills. The hotel is the first in a series of 12 Janu projects around the world, it was created to meet the desires of today’s dynamic travellers, who seek uplifting experiences and authentic human connections with a view to a new era of restorative travel that restores the mind, body and thoughts through travel.

There are eight restaurants and bars that embody the concepts of “connection,” “inspiration,” and “exploration,” the three values at the heart of Janu’s concept. Starting with the main dining, “Janu Mercato” is designed to resemble an Italian market with its liberating space in natural light.

You can enjoy Chinese cuisine at “Hu Jing”, which offers roast duck, and over 60 à la carte paired with natural wines. “Janu Grill” provides selected meats and seafood for grilled dishes, while “SUMI” specializes in charcoal-grilled dishes using seasonal, organic ingredients. For lovers of Edomae sushi, there’s “IIGURA”. Additionally, there’s “Janu Patisserie”, you can also enjoy seasonal afternoon tea at “Janu Lounge & Garden Terrace”. For unique cocktails inspired by the cities of Tokyo, head to “Janu Bar”. These vibrant dining destinations cater to different tastes and curiosities, adding dynamism to the bustling Azabudai Hills.

There are also one of Tokyo’s premier wellness and spa destinations, the expansive 4,000㎡ facility. Featuring an expansive 340㎡ gym, it is equipped with five movement studios offering group exercise sessions such as spinning, aerial yoga, golf simulation, and boxing, alongside a luxurious pool, hydrotherapy, and thermal area. Notably, the hotel boasts two meticulously designed spa houses—Hammam and Banya—inspired by Turkish and Russian traditions, which are the signature favorites of Aman Group Chairman and CEO Mr. Vlad Doronin. The breadth of facilities available at ‘Janu Tokyo’ surpass expectations for a Tokyo hotel.

Lessons range from mindful programmes such as yoga and breathing exercises, to boxing and Muay Thai. Offering a full range of classes using the latest fitness machines, visitors can develop connections and experience social wellness.

Through the diverse selection of group classes, guests have the opportunity to foster connections with others and experience social wellness altogether.
