The number of people who own pets in Japan are increasing every year. More people consider their pet as a family member and as a result, there is a growing concern for pet care and health, and increasing demand for high quality food. This was the very theme of Japan’s largest pet convention, “Interpets” this year. It is gaining popularity every year.
At Candlewick, we support the PR for ZIWI®, a premium New Zealand pet food company, exhibited at Interpets again this year. They had one of the largest booth, selling its popular air dried food, canned food, treats, and dental chews. ZIWI® products contain up to 96% meat including bones and organs. The booth was crowded with many people and the products selling out very quickly due to its popularity.
At Interpets, visitors are allowed to bring their pets, so the convention was very lively with many dogs🐶 and cats😺!
The Irish Food Board ‘Bord Bia’ is engaged in a variety of activities to support market expansion for Irish food and beverages in Japan. Candlewick is supporting them with their PR & marketing in Japan. Bord Bia is actively building relationships with trading companies, food companies, hotels and restaurants to provide more Japanese people with the opportunity to enjoy Irish grass-fed beef, lamb, dairy products and seafood.
Candlewick has produced branded goods that can be used in such situations. These goods can be given as a way of saying hello, or as a way of saying thank you. For example, the tote bags and tea towels with a map of the main food and beverage production areas in Ireland are designed for chefs to use at their restaurants, while the cow-shaped memo pads, clear files with cow and sheep illustrations and other office supplies are for trading and wholesale companies.
We specialize in creating these types of thoughtful collaterals for our clients and their customers and stakeholders!
