This year marks Candlewick’s 9th year as the Japan Representative Office for the Monaco Government Tourist & Convention Authority✨

To commemorate Monaco Pavilion’s National Day at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai on June 28, we hosted a series of special events with the visiting delegation from Monaco. This blog highlights three events.

The first event we would like to introduce is a cocktail reception at the Monaco Pavilion for media and influencers🍷

Guests enjoyed a curated selection of fine wines chosen by top sommeliers from the legendary 150-year-old cellar of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, a five-star hotel in Monaco. The evening also included a guided pavilion tour and a closer look at the theme “Take Care of Wonder”, highlighting Monaco’s commitment to preserving its many miracles🌍

Next is the highlights from the “Monaco: A Land of Timeless Beauty” Dinner 2025, held at the newly opened Four Seasons Hotel Osaka.

In line with the pavilion’s Expo theme “Take Care of Wonder”, the evening featured a seminar and networking dinner showcasing Monaco’s sustainability efforts and diverse tourism appeal.

Following insightful presentations on Monaco’s latest tourism strategies, hotel updates, and exciting new projects, guests toasted with cocktails crafted from organic liqueurs made in Monaco 🍹

The evening continued with a special dinner and lively networking, culminating in a lucky draw with fantastic prizes—including a stay at a five-star hotel and a jersey signed by AS Monaco’s very own Takumi Minamino! 🎁✨

The final highlight was Monaco Soirée, a reception held at Hotel Okura Tokyo to celebrate the friendship and growing business ties between Monaco and Japan 🍾

As the grand finale of “Monaco Week in Japan 2025”, the event brought together around 100 distinguished guests, including Monaco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, a delegation from the Monaco Economic Board, the Honorary Consul of Monaco in Japan, key government officials, travel industry leaders, and members of the media 🥂

Co-hosted by the Embassy of Monaco, the Monaco Economic Board, and the Monaco Government Tourist & Convention Authority, the soirée was a symbolic evening of diplomacy and economic partnership between our two countries✨
