Candlewick serves as the PR agency for the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye, Culture and Tourism Office, as well as the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA).
On November 25 (Tuesday) and 27 (Thursday), 2025, Candlewick collaborated with Turkish Airlines to host the “Go Türkiye Destination Promotion Workshop” in two cities: Tokyo (Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba) and Osaka (W Osaka).
The workshops welcomed over 100 travel industry professionals from both Türkiye and Japan across the two venues. Through presentations, business meetings, and networking lunches, participants exchanged the latest insights on tourism in Türkiye, creating a dynamic environment that sparked new business opportunities.

A total of 21 Turkish companies took part in the workshops, engaging directly with Japanese travel agencies in active discussions. Feedback from Japanese participants included comments such as “Our interest in travel to Türkiye has grown even stronger” and “The workshop provided valuable inspiration for developing new travel products.”
Candlewick was responsible for the overall planning, operation, and PR support of the workshops. Our scope of work included venue layout design, agenda and schedule planning, creation of MC scripts and event collaterals, participant coordination, on-site registration support, as well as the preparation and distribution of press releases.

In addition, as a new initiative, we introduced AI translation tools to facilitate smoother communication between Turkish and Japanese participants. Moving forward, Candlewick will continue to work closely with the Culture and Tourism Office and TGA, serving as a bridge between Türkiye and Japan through ongoing promotional activities.
