Bord Bia, the Irish Food Agency, will hold the “Irish Grassfed Beef & Lamb Restaurant Fair 2022” for a month from November 29th, Good Meat Day! 15 restaurants in Tokyo, including teppanyaki, steak houses, Italian, and French restaurants, will participate.

The second edition of the fair will feature Irish Grassfed Lamb, which is becoming increasingly popular for its tender meat, low fat content, and rich flavor, and which has been traded in Japan since this year.

Irish Grassfed Beef & Lamb grows up on grass in Ireland, a country that is rich in nature and a leader in sustainability. The meat has earned a reputation for its well-balanced quality: fine, juicy, tender, and balanced, with just the right amount of savory grass flavor.

The main image of the fair is “Irish Grass Fed Beef Sirloin Steak with Pomme Duchesse” by Morceau, which is owned by Chef Sakura Akimoto. This is a delicate dish by a female chef who is very active in the world of French cuisine. All participating restaurants have been carefully selected.

Hitosara, Japan’s one of the largest chef information site, has launched a special website for the Irish Grassfed Beef & Lamb Restaurant Fair 2022.

The website introduces details of the participating restaurants and their menus, the chefs’ special points of interest for the fair’s special menus, and the appeal of Irish Grassfed Beef & Lamb as perceived by the chefs. There is also a trilogy discussion with Chef Ishizaki, owner of Teppanyaki Ishizaki, Ishizuka, sommelier and manager of Prime42 BY NEBRASKA FARMS, and Joe, manager of Bord Bia Japan, the Irish Government Food Agency. Let’s give it try!
