Next is Monaco.

Right now in Monaco, it is the harvest season for bitter oranges.

The Principality is lined with more than 600 bitter orange trees, and every year in January and February, the Principality is filled with vibrant orange color and fresh-scent of oranges. Ready for harvest!

In Monaco there is more than 300 days of sunshine a year, which helps the oranges grow. The oranges are then picked and hand-pressed to make L’Orangerie liqueur. The creation of L’Orangerie is a sustainable project supported by the government to make effective use of fruit that was originally gone to waste.

This vitamin-rich liqueur is good for the skin and also makes a great souvenir!
